Mobile Bilingual dictionary
Abstract
The dictionary is a list of words with their definitions, a list of characters with their glyphs, or a list of words with corresponding words in other languages. Many
dictionaries also provide pronunciation information, grammatical information, word
derivations, histories, illustration, usage guidance and examples in phrases or sentences. Dictionaries are most commonly found in the form of a book, but more and more dictionaries today is designed in the form of electronic PDA or a general purpose
computer. This project emphasis on Mobile Bilingual Dictionary which transforms the
ordinary dictionary that found in the form of a book and electronic dictionary into
mobile usage. The purpose of this project is to give convenient to users to get as much
as possible detailed and exact translations of words in any forms wherever there are
besides do not need to waste their time on looking up the unfamiliar words in numerous
paper dictionaries again. For done this project, the Java Technology which includes both of a programming language and platform had been chosen. The benefits of this project
are to improve the current dictionary available more interactive, attractive and more user friendly which can give more advantages to users.
