Agriculture waste has many potential
to produce an alternative and beneficial product
for any suitable application such as microwave
absorber for anechoic chamber. In this work,
agriculture waste like rice husk from paddy are
used in design the pyramidal microwave absorber
to operate effectively in the microwave frequency
from 1 GHz to 20 GHz. Firstly, rice husk particle
board are fabricate in the material lab. Two types
of resin, Urea Formaldehyde (UF) and Phenol
Formaldehyde (PF) are mixed with the rice husk
to make comparison of dielectric properties for
both mixed rice husk with UF and PF content.
Three different percentage of resin content
discussed in this work are 10 %, 20 % and 30 %.
Free Space Measurement Method is chosen to
define the dielectric constant of the rice husk.
After that, this microwave absorber is simulated in
CST Microwave Studio using the value that get
from the Free Space Measurement Method to
compare the reflectivity performance or S11 result
for the microwave absorber.
