This paper report the studies the effect of difference weight of alumina particles on pure Aluminium Metal Matrix Composite. The research was done due to the fact to improve the mechanical strength of Al alloy by using alumina ceramic as reinforcement compared to pure Al. The aluminium metal matrix reinforced alumina composite is fabricated by using Powder Metallurgy method (PM). It is a solid-state process consisting of several steps such as production of metal powder, mixing powder, compact them in mould, and sintering. One of the advantages of using this method is that the composites can be produced with high content of reinforcing phase resulting in particularly high stiffness and extremely low thermal expansion.en_US
