    Abstract
Antennas have permeated into many aspects of our daily lives, and have enabled several advances especially in communication system. A wide variety of antennas have been utilized for an array application, including monopole and dipole antennas, loop antennas, dish antennas, and horn antennas. Recently, a new attraction in antenna designer is 3D antenna. 3D miniature antenna has been developed with a small in size which is compatible for various application especially RFID. This project is to investigate and develop a new type of miniature 3D antenna with similar performance to the conventional larger antenna ones for RFID applications. 3D antenna design is based on 2D meander line methods where its resonate at 498 MHz with using a set of 3×3×3 grid point of the structure. The dimension of antenna size is λ/30 which is small enough from previous project. Type of 3D miniature antenna is a single operation antenna that only transmit signal and radiation pattern is omni-directional that radiate in all direction. This gain and structure dimension is low in 1.2 dB that also compatible for any medical device. The antenna was able to be miniaturized, while still performing with great efficiency, without degrading bandwidth and gain, which is one of the main uniqueness. The antenna performing is in great efficiency where the percentage is more than 90 % and return loss is in good value for power transmission of antenna.
