In the networking based, to build network in a real time scenario is very difficult task. A single test can cost a lot of money and time. So implementation of a whole network in real world is not easily possible and very costly to. The simulator helps the network developer to check whether the network is able to work in the real time. Thus both the time and cost of testing the functionality of network have been reduced and implementations are made easy. In this paper, we do the simulation study of IEEE 802.15.4 guaranteed time slot (GTS) using OMNeT++ for real time applications. Function of GTS is to transmit critical data efficiently. GTS is important for real time application to make sure data sent has arrived to the receiver.en_US
