    Abstract
Solar energy is one of the important source which can be use to replace the electrical and oil sources. The cost of existing energy can be saved or reduced if solar energy is well manipulated. A prototype of dual axis solar tracking system project is develops to adapt this requirement. The project development is divided into two stages, which are software and hardware development. In software development, the control circuit for the solar tracker is based on Arduino microcontroller board. The code is constructed using C programming language. The code is programmed to detect the presence of light through the sensor and then trigger the servo motor to move the solar panel depending on the intensity of light. For the hardware development, a set of four light dependent resistors (LDR) has been used to track the light source. Two servo motor used to moves the solar panel based on the highest intensity of light senses by the LDRs. Arduino Uno board as the main controller will control the whole system. The result for this project is the system can control the direction of solar panel depending on the light intensity.
