dc.description.abstract | Body compatible Ultra Wide Band (UWB) horn antenna design and scattering performance analysis for early breast cancer detection using textile material is presented. The (UWB) antenna operates from 3.1GHz up to10GHz. The radiating element of the antenna is made of Zelt fabric. The antenna consists of three layers, the Zelt material is a first layer that used as a patch antenna, second layer is felt material (er=1.44) that used as substrate and the third
layer partial ground is also made of Zelt fabric. The antenna is designed with center
frequency of 4.3 GHz using CST STUDIO SUITE software before fabricated. At the end, a
comparison result between simulation and experimental of antenna are presented. The
design of the horn antenna is tested using the vector network analyzer. The overall
parametric test result has achieved 85% of the target. Horn antenna is experimented to
detect tumor cell within breast phantom using P400 RCM software and Matlab software. It
is successfully tested and the efficiency of horn antenna performance is 85%. | en_US |
