    Abstract
A computer network is an interconnected collection of independent computers which aids communication in numerous ways. A modern day computer network consists of two major components, namely distributed applications and networking infrastructure. The networking infrastructure provides support for data transfer among the interconnected computers where the applications reside. Ad Hoc network is the ultimate frontier in wireless communication. This technology allows network nodes to communicate directly to each other using wireless transceivers without the need for a fixed infrastructure. The title of this project is the Performance Analysis of Video Streaming on Ad Hoc Network. This project aims to analyze the performance of video streaming on Ad Hoc network based on distance and number of nodes used at Kolej Kediaman UniMAP Kg.Wai. The analysis uses 4 nodes which each of it furations as receiver, sender or intermediate nodes for this network. For example, when stream of video is send from node 1 to node 2 it may cross node 4 or node 3 or straight to node 2. Software that has been used to analyze the performance of video streaming on Ad Hoc network is Ethereal. This project required four notebooks and two webcams to set up Ad Hoc network and to stream video. The best distance and number of nodes can be determine when the analysis done.
