This paper present development in relation to a wideband antenna comprising a disk antenna and a plurality of circular split ring resonators coupled with a high dielectric ring. Using slotted resonators together with optimized air gap in order to achieve elevated bandwidth comes with minor setbacks: moderate gain and directivity, side coupling effect and unbalance electrical field strength and intensity. Simulating and placing high valued optimized dimensions dielectric ring above and encircling the resonators have proven to be indispensable as the gain and directivity increases while sustaining the bandwidth, radiation pattern and total efficiency operating in the 5.85 to 7.075 GHz range meant for Malaysia's future broadband plan of High Altitude Platform Station.en_US
