    Abstract
This paper discusses the preliminary study of stress detection towards determination of stress index through qualitative and quantitative evaluation of physical and psychological during stress. Awareness of stress effect to physical and psychological health will lead to better ways of suppressing and stress management effectively. Therefore the aim of this study is to investigate the suitable and accurate method to measure stress which detailed enough for stress index determination.
