prepared by powder metallurgy technique. Dry sliding abrasive wear behaviour of the composite was tested and compared with pure aluminium. The sliding wear test has been conducted in a pin-on-disc testing machine. The various influence factors were studied such sliding distance, applied load and content of slag in composites. Rotatable design matrix and analysis of variances (ANOVA) was employed to investigate the influence of synergic factors such as sliding distance, abrasive mating surface roughness and content of slag on the abrasive wear of the composite. The objective was to investigate the correlation and contribution of which synergic factors significantly affect the abrasive wear. It shows that content of slag is the highest correlation and contribution on the wear coefficient of composites.
