    Abstract
This research conducted to solve the problems that arise nowadays whereby the ecosystem encounter problem of water pollution Thus, in this research, treatment conducted by treating copper by using low cost material. In this research, two materials studied to examine the potential in treating copper and two type of sorbent produce which are natural and modified sorbent. For this research, from the two type of material, six type of adsorbent produced are used in comparing the efficiency of each material. From the experiment conducted, all six type of sorbent achieve 90% removal at the better condition. From the experiment, each natural and modified sorbent give different result where for natural sorbent, onion achieve the highest efficiency while for modified sorbent, garlic show the highest removal efficiency. For overall removal efficiency, natural sorbent for onion skin is the highest removal efficiency which is it removal efficiency is 99.843%. While for isotherm and kinetic study, all type of sorbent fit better with Langmuir isotherm and follow with pseudo second order kinetic study. For this research, it can be concluded that this to material are suitable to use as sorbent due to all the sorbent produced achieve 90% and above for their efficiency.
