Based on this research, a study of phytoremediation techniques for the treatment of industrial textile wastewater by using three types of selected aquatic plants which known as Eichhornia Crassipes Species (ECs), Pistia Stratiotes Species (PSs), and Typha Latifolia Species (TLs) for overcome the current issue where textile wastewater still treated by using the conventional biological, chemical and physical treatment process with high costing and un-environmental. The textile wastewater contain high chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), heat, color, acidity, basicity and other soluble substances (Ahn et al., 1999). The BOD, COD, DO, Turbidity and PH, 5 of this parameter be tested for fulfill the objective by selected the most potential of aquatic plants in the process of phytoremediation treatment. Due to the analysis of 5 parameters, the most potential is ECs types of aquatic plants which also known as Water Hyacinth consist of 91.04% in COD removal efficiency and 68.16% BOD removal efficiency. For second potential is PSs types of aquatic plants, also called as water lettuce contain 86.25% and 65.64% in COD and BOD removal efficiency. The 60.42% and 49.89% of COD and BOD removal efficiency is result to TLs or Cattail types of aquatic plants. Overall, the physical characteristic in growth among the total 12 weeks of duration process is resulting the ECs can survive until the end.en_US
