    Abstract
This project was conducted to study the behaviour of soil stabilization using palm oil clinker with the POC-to-soil ratio; 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. Soil stabilization is the process of mixing and blending materials into soil to improve certain properties of soil. Palm oil clinker is a by-product of palm oil industry which normally being dumped as waste which caused to the undesirable effects to our environment sustainability. POC is normally disposed of in landfill or incinerated, incurring costs and causing negative environmental impact, such as pollution. Therefore the appropriate use of POC can help preserve the environment from undesirable effects, while at the same time contributes to cost reduction for the palm oil industry. Malaysia has the majority of soft soils with low strength and high compressibility. By using POC, physical properties such as strength and bearing capacity are enhanced while plasticity and expansivity are reduced. Thus it creates more stable and suitable conditions for design and construction of pavement and building foundations. It also reduces subsurface rutting and cracking. Other than that, it can reduces moisture sensivity as POC characteristics itself has good water absorption ability.
