This project presents the result of experiment to produce concrete cube containing guava seed as sand replacement. The guava seed was used as part of sand replacement in the mix of concrete. Forty eight concrete cubes with size 100 x 100 x 100 mm were prepared. The sizes of guava seed almost similar between each other. Mixture ratio was used for this test is 1:2:4 which is one ratio for cement, two ratios for sand and guava seed also four ratio for coarse aggregate. The water cement ratio was fixed at 0.5. The mixture of concrete was mixed by weight of the material. Four types of samples were tested which Sample A as a control sample containing 100% of sand (CS), sample B was the mixture between sand and 10% of guava seed (C10), sample C was the mixture between sand and 25% of guava seed (C25) while sample D was the mixture between sand and 50% of guava seed (C50). Each sample was tested for 7, 14 and 28 days. The samples were tested to compare physical and engineering properties between standard cube and replacement cube. The density was done by referring BS 1881-114:1983 where CS had the highest density with 2583 kg/m3 for 28 days. Water absorption was done by referring BS 1881-122:1983 where C50 able to absorb more water with 8.7% absorption for 28 days compared to other concrete cube. Next, the compressive strength was done by referring BS 1881-116:1983 where CS able to receive higher load with 35.525 MPa for 28 days. It is followed by C10 with not much different of strength with 33.644 MPa for 28 days. The best replacement of sand using guava seed is C10 and the maximum proposed of sand replacement using guava seeds is C25.en_US
