dc.description.abstract | Mass transfer is a process that occurs in liquid-liquid extraction column. One of the equipment uses for the liquid-liquid extraction is the rotating disc contactor (RDC) column. In order to determine the concentration of the dispersed phase and also the concentration of the continuous phase of the rotating disc contactor column, a new mass transfer model is incorporated into the existing boundary approach of mass transfer model. A simulation is then being carried out. Comparison of the simulation result and the experimental data shows that the results are approaching each other. | en_US |
