The value of the personal knowledge is not only a valuable personal intangible asset for individuals, but can also contribute to organizational use if properly instructed. This paper first clarifies the relationship amongst date, information and knowledge to build a theoretical foundation, then briefly introduces personal knowledge management (PKM) and its six phases.
