The use of SIFCON in the civil and structural engineering has been increasingly as the needs of advanced material possessing great performance material is increase. The concrete with the steel fiber has been used during the last four decades. It is generally accepted that the addition of steel fiber significantly increase tensile toughness and ductility, also slightly enhances the flexural strength. Tests have been conducted on the properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete with different percentages of steel fibers to obtain highest flexural strength. The percentage of steel fiber is carried out in this experiment are 1%, 2% and 3% of steel fiber. Each percentage has three samples to obtain the accurate flexural strength. It is found that, SIFCON with 2% of steel fiber has the highest flexural strength which is 1.566 MPa. The size of the mould used is 100 mm x 100 mm x 500 mm. Besides that, two different length of steel fibers is used in this study which are 46 mm and 49 mm length of steel fiber. All 21 samples are produced and undergo curing process for 28th days before the flexural test was performed. The highest result of flexural strength for 46 mm steel fiber was 1.566 MPa for 2% of steel fiber. Meanwhile, for 49 mm steel fiber, the highest flexural strength was 1.242 MPa for also 2% of steel fiber. Based on the flexural test, it can be conclude that the short steel fiber is stronger than the longer steel fiber. By comparing the strength of conventional manhole cover with SIFCON, it can be summarized that SIFCON is suitable to be designed as the manhole cover.en_US
