Mechanical and morphology properties of low density polyethylene/egg shell powder composites were examined. Composites were prepared in Z-Blade Mixer. Mixing was done at 1600C and rotor speed of 50 rpm. Sample of composite were compression in an electrically heated Hydraulic press. Hot press procedures involved preheating at 1800C for 4 min followed by compression for 2 min at the same temperature and subsequent cooling under pressure for 2 min. Mechanical properties were done by using the tensile test. Studies on the morphology properties of the tensile fracture surface of the low density polypropylene/egg-shell powder composites were carried out using Scanning electron microscope (SEM).
