Effect of Maleic Anyhride modified Polyproplene (Ppmah) on thermal properties of Polyproplene Recycled Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber/Banana skin powder (BSP)
Abstract
In the mainstream, the demand for plastic-based products has increased drastically over time. Therefore research has discovered a substance that can reduce our dependence on plastic-based items. Polymer composites is latest discovery natural
fibers were introduce that might solve the problem .In this study, banana peel powder was used as a natural fiber and polypropylene have been used as a matrix for composite pp/powder banana skin. While Polypropylena Maleic Anhyride (PPMAH) is a pairing of mechanical and chemical properties as improvements in PP composite/composite powder with a banana skin without PPMAH .The mechanical properties of composites without (PPMAH) with additional composite (PPMAH) were tested using Instron Model 6633 to identify strengths tension, elongation break and Modulus Young. For identify chemical FTIR used in this study. In this study, the use of composite PPMAH is best compatibility . Based on the studies that have been done, the mechanical strength to strength elongation, elongation casting, indicating that having more PP composites have high strength . Whereas, for the Young's modulus; composite that has a lot of natural fibers have a higher Young's modulus value. Moreover, based on the chemical properties of composites.
