Multi-phase smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) modelling for laser micromachining
Noorhafiza, Muhammad, Dr. (Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)School of Manufacturing Engineering, 2014-05)This invention overcomes the problem to model the laser micromachining process by introducing meshless method. Conventional modelling methods using generated mesh have been problematic in capturing the melt splashing or ... -
Image processing methods for a proposed laser pest extraction and monitoring system
Wong, Nicholez; Ali, Chekima (Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)School of Mechatronic Engineering, 2012-02-27)A laser pest extraction system was proposed in this paper based on image analysis techniques for tracking and identification. High powered laser pointers were proposed and varying laser intensity will be applied based ... -
Experimental and theoretical investigations of structural properties of nanostructured Co-doped ZnO films grown by pulsed laser deposition
Yarub, Al-Douri; Adawiya J, Haidar; Ali, A. Yousif; Habubi, Nadir F.; Ali Hussain, Reshak (Elsevier Ltd., 2012-06-22)The nanostructured Co-doped ZnO films on glass substrates prepared by pulsed laser deposition are fabricated. The effect of doping on the structural properties of ZnO:Co films have been investigated using X-ray diffraction ...
