A study was conducted to understanding the aims and greater understanding of the research analysis on shallow foundation settlement on the treated clay. Clay is commonly found in areas near the beach. This project is to understand and discuss the properties of soil and sediment that occur on untreated clay and clay that has been treated. This study was to investigate the effect of sediment that occurs over clay -treated and untreated. This is very important and should take note because when shallow foundations on clay this can cause damage to the building structure and can cause buildings to collapse. Based on this research, several studies have been conducted to identify soil samples taken was correct, clay. After that the next study is going to look at the consequences of sediment on clay treated and untreated. Once the amount of sediment that occurs, shallow foundation analysis study done noncompliance untreated clay and clay that has been treated. From this study, the characteristics of the clay have been known to have a high water content and therefore cause a lot of sediment. Therefore, the clay must be treated to reduce sediment that occurs when the building is constructed.en_US
