This project aims to design a digital to analog converter circuit(DAC). The method has been use in this project is base on the famous R/2R Ladder Network. Resistor ladder networks provide a simple, inexpensive way to perform digital to analog conversion. This R/2R ladder network is design for 8 bit data conversion. This thesis also discuss a problem during to get the expected result from DAC circuit. The expected result should be nearly to the calculation result. So the approached solution has been proposed to solve the problem. The microcontroller has been implement in this project for display output value conversion digital to analog on liquid crystal display (LCD). The output result is base to the digital input. The digital input is between 00000000 to 11111111. So from the input data the conversion in analog is must in voltage range between 0v to 5v. If the result is not nearly to the expected result, it’s some error in the circuit. The operational amplifier has been implement to the circuit as improvement to get the good result. The comparison has been in the last result between actual result and calculation result.en_US
