This report describes the design of humanoid robot head by using CATIA. This design is developed to show the expression of human-like emotion based on the clue done by other research group and also daily observation from human face. These design will imitates human expression with the capability to show a range of facial expressions (happy, sad, wonder, surprised and bored). The design consists of four parts which are face base, jaw, eyebrows and lips. Two types of movement used to show the expression. Rotary motion is used to show the rotation movement of the eyebrows (inner and outer part) and lips (right and left part) while linear motion is used to show the linear movement of jaw, middle part of eyebrows and lips. 5 kinds of facial expressions are expressed successfully and the simulation and analysis of the design is briefly discussed in Chapter 4. Satisfied result is obtained.en_US
