dc.description.abstract | Effective leadership is critical to the success of any organization. Leadership is processing of influencing others to achieve organizational roles and the influencing of others to achieve organizational goals in the long term. A good leader can lead organization to success while bad leader will lead to organization failure. Failure to manage an organization by the leader, it will make everyone loses whether internal and external parties such as vendors, lenders, customers, and employees. Furthermore, bad leadership is cause of poor performance, lack of understanding about what needs to be done, disconnect between organization’s goals and employees of work. The negative outcome of poor leadership do increase good people quitting , low morale , lack of motivation , lack of innovation, missed opportunities, increase absence and project fails. Therefore, the objective of this conceptual paper is to develop the framework of leadership failure in organizations based on the original Theory of Reasoned Action and Planned Behavioral Control. Based on literature reviews, a new development of theoretical framework has been proposed for leadership failure in organization that involves attitudes, followers and leaders skills. | en_US |
