Mechanism happen in a landfill will generate emissions, liquid discharges and residues of various types and then releases to the environment. Pest, vapours, vibration, noise, insects, odour ware the example of direct impacts on the environment from landfill activities. Indirect impact effects such as nuisance, explosions, effects on water resources, loss of amenity and effects on flora and fauna could happen to the environment. A survey was carried out to investigate the employees satisfaction toward environmental effect at work place. Twenty seven employees of Pulau Burung Landfill Site have answered the questionnaire. Twenty of them are male and seven are female and all the employees are still young with age ranges between 20 to 35 years old. The questionnaire asked the environmental issues faced by the employees (air pollution, unsafe drinking water, traffic, noise and satisfaction of work place condition). This question was asked because the employees were the person that experience the effects from landfill activity such as the emission of gaseous, noise from the landfill activity and traffic at the site. Statistics analysis showed that, the employees agreed that they experienced air and noise pollution. T test showed that gender, age and training experience did not give significant differences. This is because the employees work at the same landfill with same working condition. Factor analysis has simplified the issues faced by the employees of the landfill into two factors. Factor 1 is second order effect and factor 2 is the first order effect.en_US
