In this present study, the lightweight aggregates (LWA) were produced from ordinary Portland cement (OPC) mixed with fly ash with three type of composition. The LWA is produced in granules shape with the diameter of the aggregates was ranged between 6.3 mm and 9.5 mm. The properties of chemical composition LWA were examined by using XRF PANanlytical MiniPal4 Machine. After the production, the chemical compositions of the aggregates and compressive strength were determined. Test result showed that LWA with used 50% OPC and 50% fly ash with compressive strength 8.05 MPa at 7 days are potential to be commercializing as lightweight aggregate. Test result also revealed that the combination of OPC and fly ash valued 23.6% of SiO2 at AG2. That means high content of silica do not totally contribute the strength of concrete.
