dc.description.abstract | This research is one of the positive methods by recycling construction waste material as the replacement to coarse aggregate in concrete mixture. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of crushed construction waste material as a coarse aggregate in concrete mixture. The concrete mixture was prepared in various different percentage of aggregate which were compared among the standard concrete grade C25 which according to nominal mixture by using volume measurement. All concrete samples are using 0.55 water cement ratio. Construction waste material used were crushed used concrete, crushed floor tile and crushed brick wall was added to replace the volume of normal aggregate as the following percentage; 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and labels as C1, C2, C3 and C4. To achieve the objective of the study, the laboratory tests were conducted on normal aggregate and types of waste materials as coarse aggregates on concrete mixture which were sieve analysis, slump test and compression strength test. The result from all test proved that the quality of the recycle concrete by using construction waste material is suitable in concrete mixture in replacing course aggregate, because there have sample there have the required strength close to strength of standard sample. | en_US |
