This project is about analyzing the heating and cooling condition of a living room. It is divided in to three parts. The first part is the design a model for a living room. The size, material properties and the dimension for living room will affect the heating and cooling cost for the living room. Room design as 5m (width) x 6m (length) x 4m (height) living room which using a Carnot heat pump for heating condition in a night mode (6pm to 6am) and used an air-conditioner with refrigerant-134a as working fluid in the day mode (6am to 6pm). The second part is calculated the heat losses and cooling load for the living room by refers to the properties of material used. The different materials used have different thermal coefficient, k. The parameters that we need to set for the environment condition are very important in our calculation. The final part is analyzes and simulate the model in EFD Lab software to observe the air flow and the temperature of the living room in the night mode and day mode.en_US
