dc.description.abstractThe raw powder of aluminium, magnesium trisilicate (M-T-S) and zinc oxide was characterize using Scanning electron Microscope(SEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD)before being mixed. Composite aluminium with M-T-S and aluminium with zinc oxide was prepared using conventional powder metallurgy (PM) method. The mixture was pressed under 200MPa and sintered under 600°C. Microstructure of both composite of taken using SEM. Based on the microstructure examination, composite aluminium with zinc oxide bind properly compare to composite aluminium with M-T-S because it did not fully sintered.en_US
