    Abstract
In this paper, the free incompressible flow over two obstacles with the presence of a condensing source dispensing contaminant in the flow is numerically investigated in both steady and unsteady states. Concentration distribution and mass transfer level is modeled by a numerical solution of Navier- Stocks equations, as well as concentration equation. The effect of variations in Reynolds number and contaminant source length on the concentration distribution and the mass transfer level is studied. The results indicate that by increasing the Reynolds number, the duration the contamination reaches the obstacles, as well as the amount of contaminant remained between the two obstacles decreases, while the mass transfer rate increases. It is also concluded that increasing the contaminant source length decreases the mean Sherwood number.
