dc.description.abstractThis research proposed an improvement of digital signature scheme that have been presented by Chung, Huang, Lai and Chen (CHLC). The security of this scheme is based on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP). This scheme requires for signature generation and for signature verification. The improvement of CHLC’s scheme is for the purpose of simplification and also reducing the time complexity for both signature generation and verification. The results obtained from the improvement show that the time complexity for both phases has decreased to and respectively. However, the security analysis for this scheme is the same as what have been shown in the CHLC’s scheme. The estimation of the speed for both signature and verification phase, have showed the improvement is about 96.68% and 50% respectively. Therefore, the proposed digital signature scheme is obviously more eficient and practical to be applied compared with the CHLC’s scheme.en_US
