The 7XXX series age-hardenable high-strength
aluminum alloys find useful applications in the field of aerospace engineering. Constant efforts are being made to tailor the mechanical properties of these alloys as per requirements for a particular application. These properties are a function of factors
like microstructure, chemical composition and processing parameters. An effort has been made to collate the information
available from different studies conducted on alloys Al 7075. Databases were created to consolidate the information about
microstructure for 7075 Al alloys.

The effect of duration aging temperature on fatigue strength of aluminum alloy strength of aluminum alloy
Ahmad Syayuthi, Abdul Rahman; Haftirman; Teo, Ee Lynn (Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Mekatronik, 2012-02-27)This paper present the effect of different duration aging temperature on fatigue strength of Al6063. Al 6063 alloy specimens have been solution heat treated at 520C for 2 hours. Subsequently, the artificial ageing heat ... -
Structural and phase formation of TiAl alloys synthesized by mechanical alloying and heat treatment
Al-Dabbagh, Jinan B.; Rozman, Mohd Tahar; Mahadzir, Ishak; Siti Aisyah, Harun (Universiti Malaysia Perlis, 2015)Mechanical alloying (MA) of Ti-50%Al (molar fraction) powder by using Planetary ball milling equipment, have been successfully refine the crystallite size and produced TiAl nano-alloys. The characteristics of the powder ... -
Preparation of submicron Al-Ti Alloy particles by mechanical alloying
Abdul Razak, Daud; Adolf Asih, Supriyanto (Universiti Malaysia Perlis, 2009-12-01)Introduction: Mechanical alloying (MA) is a solid-state powder processing technique involving repeated welding, fracturing and re-welding of powder particles in a high-energy ball mill [1-3]. MA has been used to synthesize ...
