Steel containers with stirring mechanisms are used to store latex in rubber industry. The container designs use ASME regulations, while the frame designs have evolved through experience. The primary area of concern is the container design and then the influence of reinforcement steel rings introduced to the container. The design objective is to minimise the overall weight of the container, thereby allowing greater payloads, as the total laden weight of the container is controlled. Traditionally, containers have been built and then tested staticallyen_US
