dc.description.abstractThe unpredictability in HF propagation results in multipath fading phenomena affect reliability in data communication. Random phase due to fading causes phase synchronization error at the receiver. This problem can be resolved by adopting DQPSK (Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) since phase synchronization is not critical. In this paper, described the design and implementation of DQPSK based HF modem and performance trial on the Skudai - Baling and Skudai – Chemor HF radio link.en_US
