Electrical conductivity and dielectric properties of polypyrrole conducting polymer composite films were investigated using gamma irradiation from 0 kGy up to 25 kGy. The AC conductivity is directly proportional to the frequency. The DC conductivity increased with the irradiation dose. In dielectric studies, relative permittivity and loss factor increased with gamma dose whereas the relaxation times decreased with irradiation dose. The study showed that gamma irradiation is capable to polymerize and induce the electrical conductivity and dielectric properties of the polypyrrole composite polymers.en_US
