Automated sensor actuator controller system for agrotech application
Abstract
Agro-tech is playing a significant role in the production of out-of-season fruits, flowers, and vegetables as well as high value and sensitive plants. The purpose of the agro-tech controlled is to keep the plants in good condition and quality. Agro-tech control system is a system that is able to control the physical parameters in the greenhouse. The control system can be divided into few categories, for examples, temperature, soil moisture, irrigation, and so on. Out of these categories, the great concerns in this project are temperature management and light. In order to obtain data from the real world, a sensor is essential to convert physical parameters into signal, follow by a National Instrument Data Acquisition 6008 to manipulate these signal and finally data are presented in numerical or graphical. This project mainly takes place in the prototype of the greenhouse by carry out a series of experiments by using WSN (wireless sensor network). Data from MTS400 transmit wirelessly by IRIS to the MIB520. On the other hand, installation of temperature sensor in the greenhouse enables us to monitor surrounding temperature in the greenhouse. The Data Acquisition 6008 will receive data from all the temperature sensors and results will be display in the LabView Application. Based on the data received, the NI-USB will control the hardware that consist of fan and bulb.
