Body-compatible ultra wideband (UWB) pyramidal antenna design scattering performance analysis for early breast cancer detection
Abstract
The objective of this project is to develop a software package for system early
stage breast cancer detection using an antenna that is designed using Studio Suite (CST) to make it affordable to general users (patients). The antenna has been fabricated and measured the frequency drop, return loss and the radiation pattern. The type of antenna design is a fabric (textile) antenna and the type of fabrics used is a Zelt fabric. Software modules use forward propagation algorithm (forward propagation neural network) as a training method for neural networks to learn from the experimental data. The entire project is built with a graphical user interface (GUI) for neural based on experimental data and then verify the size of the tumor in the neural network and the existence of tumor. The antenna has been tested by using P400 RCM and MATLAB software. This project is tested on two type of model breast phantom which is homogeneous and heterogeneous. The efficiency of antenna during test is by used a breast phantom of heterogeneous which is at 72.18% thus, the target is achieved.
