The main objective of this project is to study about the renewable energy. Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, water and geothermal heat which are renewable (naturally replenished). The renewable energy that involve in this project is water. Energy in water can be harnessed and used. There are many forms of water energy such as hydroelectric, micro hydro and ocean energy. In hydroelectric energy, the energy of water is utilized to drive the turbine which, in turns, runs the generator to produce electricity. This project is also to design a mini underwater hydro energy model using flipwing turbine. The flipwing turbine is a breakthrough in mechanical innovation for hydropower generation. Unlike the dam turbines that are driven by water pressure, the flipwing turbine is driven by the hydrokinetic energy in water flows or current. The turbine is friendly user, where it is safe for marine life. The rotation of the flipwing turbine is depends on the size of the turbine, size of the blades and also the number of blades that used.en_US
