In this paper, the homotopy-perturbation method (HPM) is modified in order to obtain the approximate solutions of the nonlinear differential equation response in a sequence of time intervals. To apply the modified homotopy-perturbation method (MHPM), we choose Population dynamics model as model problem. The accuracy of this method is examined by comparison with the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method (RK4). The results prove that the modified HPM is a powerful tool for the solution of nonlinear equations.en_US
