dc.description | Malaysian Technical Universities Conference on Engineering and Technology organized by Universiti Malaysia Pahang in collaboration with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka & Universiti Malaysia Perlis on
June 20th - 22nd, 2009, at MS Garden Hotel, Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This paper describes how a spreadsheet
application (Microsoft Excel) can be used to model a
74LS83 (4-bit parallel binary adder) Medium Scale
Integration (MSI) circuit operation. Using a spreadsheet
application rather than conventional simulation software has
several advantages in term of cost and the portability of the
model between applications especially for the Microsoft
Office Family application such as PowerPoint which were
used commonly for teaching purposes. It can also be
integrated into a webpage for self learning purposes [1]. | en_US |
