Characterization of accelerated thermal degradation of LDPE using fourier transform infra red spectroscopy
Abstract
The accelerated thermal
degradation of low-density polyethylene
(LDPE) using the Q-10 Rule was
characterized in air at atmospheric
pressure and temperature of 40oC. The
changes and shifting of FT-iR spectrum
due to the changes in density as a result
of accelerated thermooxidative
degradation were analyzed.
