dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the possibility of generating electricity for a single house in Malaysia using solar updraft tower (SUT). This paper starts with the short introduction of SUT and the advantages. Then followed with a table that shows the temperature readings in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to support the idea that SUT can be a suitable way to generate electricity in Malaysia because of the weather conditions. After that, the design and construction of SUT and the components are presented. Finally the results that have been obtained on several experiments with the solar updraft tower are also presented.en_US
