dc.description.abstractThis reseach present the design of 2.4GHz active RFID item tracking system for healthcares and hospitals. The system is designed to solves the problems: I. Staffs spending too much time looking for equipment throughout the day to care for patients. II. Clinical engineers spend combing the hospital for equipment that needs scheduled maintenance. III. Patient transport is often delayed when a whellchair or gurney can not be located. IV. Hospital administrators typically incur artificially high equipment rental costs and excess capital expense to quarantee sufficient inventory to ensure patient safety and ease staff time searching for equipment.en_US
