Abstract

As a technical university, learning includes practical-oriented or lab-intensive components, especially in engineering technology and technology programmes. Our technology degree programmes run on the 3u1i mode, where students spend three years at the university and one year in industry. Additionally, our close collaboration with more than 100 industry partners across the board enables the university to leverage on industry’s facilities for student skills and technological know-how, while both parties enjoy the sharing of the latest technological innovation to propel further research and enhance the teaching-learning experience at the university. Post-COVID19, many of our programmes run on hybrid mode, while F2F learning is still accorded to practical-oriented programmes or part of programmes.
