This paper describes the design and fabrication method of biomedical Instruments which is developed for the purpose of Cell Culture application. This research is divided into two steps. Firstly, the design phase for the biomedical device is conducted using commercial CAD software and the data will be analyzed, optimized and prepared prior to the fabrication stage using the software MAGICS RP from Materialise. In this research, the snap fit design will be further investigated and optimized as an integral attachment in the device. Secondly, the fabrication process of the product will be carried out by using Rapid Prototyping with Multi Jet technology. It is found out that by designing a fillet radius at the juncture between snap beam and snap wall can increase the performance of snap fit. Using the result of this study, it is expected that further development or improvement of the step by step processes of design manufacturing using RP technology can be done.en_US
