This work uses wireless system to provide extra protection to motorcyclists. Two distinct protection gadgets incorporated in the head gear are the safety harness and the maximum speed detector. Both the safety harness and maximum speed detector are powered by solar energy. Parallel to the ignition of the motorcycle, a signal is sent from the transmitter placed in the speedometer panel to the receiver in the head gear. If the harness is not secured, a warning buzzer will turn on. During the ride, motorcyclist is protected by the maximum speed detector that produces a flashing signal if a predetermined speed limit is reached. A prototype has been fabricated and tested which successfully demonstrated how the system works.en_US
