dc.description.abstract | This paper studied the mechanical behaviors of laminated flax fabric composite plate
with different laminate code lamination. The aim of the study is to observe the influence
of the different angle in the specimen either it contribute to the high mechanical of
properties of the specimen or not. This is because the composite material should have
the improvement in order to increase their strength that can be used in more fields. The
two testing that involve in this experiment to measure the properties of laminate
composite are tensile and flexural testing. In tensile testing, it is observed that the
combination of 90° and 60° angle in the specimen produced high mechanical testing
compared to other specimen due to the high orientation angle and good interfacial
adhesion between matrix and fiber. In other testing which is flexural testing, the
combination of 90° and 30° contribute to high mechanical properties due to strong
strength of compressive part in the specimen. The pattern of the angle and good
interfacial adhesion also play an important role in determining the properties of the
specimen. As a result that observed in the specimen, the orientation code affects the
properties of the laminate composite. | en_US |
