dc.description.abstract | This project involves a preliminary study to dispose of liquid organic waste. It uses microwaves to dispose of organic waste in liquid form. Previously found that blood, especially liquid waste will be disposed of on-site disposal. Liquid waste will be collected by a athority to dispose and should be taken out of the clinic. Therefore, this project is to make a preliminary study on the microwave using a laboratory scale. To our knowledge, this project was tested at laboratory MPU 19 Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The microwave will have to be tested using the appropriate heat level. Liquid waste will be placed inside the cup stainless been bound with silicon carbide. Silicon carbide is used in order to absorb the heat emitted by the microwave to the cups. Before testing with blood, it will be tested using pure water and water added sugar to see its impact will be seen from the graph. Based on the experimental results, using silicon carbide at a stainless steel cup , pure water and added sugar can be drained and becomes steam. Therefore, this project was created to dispose of clinical waste using a laboratory scale. It aims to facilitate the disposal of clinical waste and must not be taken out of the clinic. It can prevent the occurrence of cases of communicable diseases as a result of clinical waste. | en_US |
