    Abstract
This research study focused on the purification of limestone by multiple reprecipitation. This study involves the application of different temperature for carbonation process as to observe the reactiveness of particles under specific temperature after multiple re-precipitations. Also, this research is to characterize the limestone as the product of the multiple re-precipitations as the demands of precipitated calcium carbonate in industry have been increasing recently as it is contributed to the development of calcite synthesis production according to the desired characterization for specific application needs. The multiple re-precipitations which means the product or the calcium carbonate will undergo the calcination and carbonation method several times until its characterization are stable and constant. Before that, during the calcination process, the temperature is controlled into three different phase which low temperature range that is 10°C to 20°C, medium temperature range that is 30°C to 50°C and high temperature range that is 70°C to 90°C. Then, the phase is characterized by XRay Fluorescent (XRF) Spectrometry analysis where the distribution of formation and phases of polymorphs structure are determined under radiation. Plus, the end product is distributed by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope to analyze the morphology.
